Delivery Risk

Where Deeds Pine Creations carries furniture into the buyer’s premises, this is done entirely at the buyer’s own risk. We accept no liability for damage to walls, floors, doorways, or other property during carrying and placement.

Warranty

We guarantee our workmanship against defects for a period of 3 (three) months from date of delivery/collection. This warranty covers faulty construction or poor workmanship only. Returns acceptable within 7 days once delivered. Delivery is not refundable if the item was already delivered.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover furniture that has been exposed to direct sunlight or rain. Such exposure causes damage (fading, warping, cracking, water damage) that falls outside our control and is excluded from any guarantee.

Care Instructions

To maintain your furniture and keep the warranty valid, treat it with pure/raw linseed oil every 3 weeks. Failure to maintain the furniture as instructed may void the warranty.

POPIA — Protection of Personal Information

Deeds Pine Creations (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

What information we collect

When you submit an enquiry or place an order through this website, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, and the details of your enquiry or order.

Why we collect it

We use this information only to respond to your enquiry, process your order, arrange delivery or collection, and communicate with you about your purchase. We do not use your information for any other purpose without your consent.

How we store and protect it

Your information is stored securely and is only accessible to the people at Deeds Pine Creations who need it to assist you. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

Sharing your information

We may share limited information with trusted service providers (for example, a courier arranging delivery) strictly for the purpose of fulfilling your order. Where you contact us via WhatsApp, that conversation is also subject to WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.

Your rights

Under POPIA, you have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, request that it be corrected or deleted, and object to how it is processed. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at admin@deedspinecreations.co.za.

Retention

We keep your information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose it was collected for, or as required by law.
